Honor by August pwns at 9:30

My friend John’s band, Honor by August, did their first-ever headlining show at the 9:30 Club here in DC, which is a really big freakin’ deal. In addition to all the opening bands on the bill, dj lil’e was the between-set DJ, which was a special bonus.
HBA totally pwned it. They just came out, stomped it, and did the best show I’ve ever seen them do. What a terrific night. And then at the afterparty at the bar around the corner, we got to reconnect with the incomparable Amy Hoy, which was a treat as well.
(And then Sunday night was a triumph of nerdery as our WoW guild took down Lady Vashj after only about a week of attempts. Because we’re awesome.)

Our freezer collage has grown! Many new photos were added, some were replaced, and some were left up because the people didn’t do photo Christmas cards this year.
Keep ‘em coming, y’all. And don’t feel like you’ve got to wait until Christmas to send us photos.
