get off that ass and work what you got
As requested, and in honor of both my 1 pound loss and the iPod nano Tom gave me as an anniversary present, here’s my current workout playlist for your aerobic enjoyment.
- Back to the Earth - Rusted Root (starts out nice and slow, suitable for warmup stretches, and then picks up to a good pace for treadmill or elliptical exercise)
- A Little Respect - Erasure (these first two were used as warmup music in my high school dance classes, so they put me in an exercising mood)
- Jump Around - House of Pain
- Tell Me When - Human League
- Somebody Told Me (Thriftshop’s Killer Remix) - The Killers
- Nth Degree - Morningwood
- Who’s to Blame - Ozomatli feat. Chali 2na
- Joote de Do Paise Le Lo - Lata Mangeshkar, S. P. Balasubrahmanyam (Bollywood song, I’m told it’s about hiding the couple’s shoes before their wedding. It’s a tidge slower than the previous songs, because this is about the point where I’m hitting the cool down on the elliptical.)
- Such Great Heights - The Postal Service
- Let Me Entertain You - Robbie Williams

Good tunage! I say don’t be released to release your inner Erasure! *plays his little Casio* The Ozmatli track caught me off guard. Great work out song nonetheless. Thanks!

“House of Pain” would be a great name for a gym or a martial arts studio.
